What is the catch?
There is no catch. Manifone provides innovative, but rentable services. There are no hidden costs, minimum volume requirements, or any bad surprises.
How does Manifone make money?
We make money on the International part of the calls you place.
What is the free trial that you are offering?
We offer 0.3 Euros of free calling credit to any newly opened account. This allows you to place an approximately 10-minute call most landline destinations worldwide.
What to do once I run out of free test credit?
Manifone works with prepaid accounts. Log in to your client interface, go to "Add Credit" and credit your account using our secure payment interface.
I have a problem receiving emails from Manifone. What can I do?

Billing
Is there a setup or activation fee?
No, there is no setup or activation fee.
Is there a monthly subscription fee?
No, there is no monthly subscription fee.
How much does my operator charge for a call to a Direct Number?
Since Direct Numbers are not toll-free or premium numbers, a call to these numbers will cost the same as calling any national land- or fixed line number in your country. It could even be free, if included in your monthly tariff plan. In case you have chosen the Callback option, then the call will not be charged by your operator of course.
What is the total cost of an International call I place using Manifone?
It consist of two components: 1) National part: from your mobile to the Direct Number. This will be billed by your operator, according to your tariff plan. See previous point! 2) International part: forwarding the call from the Direct Number to the International destination. It is billed by Manifone's latest International rates. If you chose the Callback option, then you will be billed a fixed callback connection fee (equivalent to a 60 secs call to your telephone at our standard rates), plus the combined per minute rates of the national callback rate plus the rate to the final destination.
Will I get billed by Manifone if the International number I'm calling doesn't respond or rings busy?
No, you will not be billed. If you chose the Callback option, you will still get billed for the fixed callback part fee of your call.
Will I get billed by my mobile phone operator if the International number I'm calling doesn't respond or rings busy?
No, you will not be billed.
Does my Manifone calling credit ever expire?
No, it doesn't, as long as you use it periodically. We reserve the right to cancel accounts that didn't show any activity for the last 12 months. In this case, the remaining credit will be lost.
Do you charge a connection fee?
There is no connection fee for the Manifone Direct Calls. We charge a fixed fee for the calls placed in callback mode (equivalent to a 60 secs call to your telephone at our standard rates).
What are the billing increments?
Calls are billed by the minute.
What payment methods are accepted?

How many countries can be called via Manifone?
You can call any country in the world.
Is the Manifone service available in all countries?
Currently we offer Direct Numbers in 15 countries:

What if I live in a country where you don't yet offer Direct Numbers?
Please let us know where you live, and we will try to add Direct Numbers in your country as soon as possible.
What if I want to call more people regularly then the number of Direct Numbers you're currently offering in my country?
You can use an Access Number in your county to place calls to destinations that you didn't save under Direct Numbers. If demand justifies it, we will add more Direct Numbers. Don't hesitate to communicate your needs.
What do I need to use the service?

Can I use any phone?
Yes, you can use your mobile, home or office phone, as long as its number shows when you call someone.
Do I need Internet access to use the service?
No, you don't. You can place calls right off your mobile phone, without access to the Internet. For opening and crediting your account you will of course need to come to our website, but that's all. The service itself works without Internet access.
Can I share my Manifone account with other people?
Yes, you can share your account with as many other people you want. Just add their telephone numbers in the "Authorized Phones" section of your client interface.
